Thank you to each club member who in some way supported our annual Flapjack Brunch during Curwood Festival. Whether it was selling tickets, turning pancakes or eating a few links, you made it a success! Proceeds from the event support our community projects like YMCA Rotary Soccer, mobile food distribution, planting community trees and more.
The Owosso Rotary Club has adopted the following statement on Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access in our community.
At noon on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2021, at the Oak Hill Cemetary, the Owosso Rotary Club and others will be recognizing the life and service of a long-forgotten Civil War veteran. Alexander Johnson was born a sale in Tennessee and served in a Michigan regiment in 1865. He lived in Owosso from 1870 until his death in 1907 and was a barber and popular community resident.
